Description of Venue:

Sand and Fire is an "Artists Studio" where ordinary sheet glass is transformed in to stunning and unique glassware using a kiln and warm glass slumping and fusing techniques. You can check out our glass display in our very own "petite" exhibition/sales gallery and gift-shop attached to the studio. Choose a perfect gift of beautifully hand crafted art glass tableware, jewellery or fine art works or book in for a workshop and create your own masterpiece.

We offer a limited number of "in-studio" specialty workshops each year - check out the events calendar for next workshop dates.

Class sizes are kept to a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 students for most workshops creating an intimate learning environment where students have the opportunity to work one-on-one with the resident artists.

Join one of our existing workshop dates or if you have a group of 4 or more we can arrange a workshop date to suit your group.

Our boutique exhibition space and showroom is open to the public Thursday - Sunday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm OR by appointment 03 5592 1857
