Description of Venue: The Beaufort Town hall was opened in 1989 by Sir Henry Bolte, the 38th Premier of Victoria, and boasts a wide range of high quality features to suit any occasion from special milestone birthday parties through to professional performances by dance or theatre companies. There is even a piano on site for singalongs!
The main features of the hall include a fully equipped commercial kitchen, and large stage with lighting, stage curtain, curtained wings either side, stage exits on both sides, stage toilets and changing area. There is also a PA system available to hire.
Currently the hall hosts the Annual Beaufort Art Show and an annual debutante ball, and is also suitable for a wide range of private functions, such as anniversaries, weddings, birthday parties, funerals and Christmas parties.
There is a supermarket in the town, plus bakeries, delicatessens and even a winery, providing a range of local catering options. Accommodation is also available in the town at numerous motels for function guests.
