A background in professional photography, arts education and a parallel career in fine arts has provided the foundations for current PhD investigations. Much of the artwork produced investigates our readings of familiar landscapes in image and written language form. The background detail of this creative process is concerned with the contribution of the creative process to our sense of belonging in our post colonial, post place world.

Currently Head of Department, Arts Academy, School of Education and Arts, University of Ballarat, Paul Lambeth holds undergraduate qualifications in Fine Arts, Management, Post – Graduate qualifications in Visual and Performing Arts, Education, Masters in Visual Arts Research and has commenced the PhD journey  in Visual Arts.
