I work with corporate & commercial clients as well as people in creative industries. I love the challenge of interpreting a brief to come up with ideas for shoots that help people’s stuff stand out. From big business to one person shows – it’s all part of the fun of capturing real life in a still image.
“I am over the moon with your vision & you’ve definitely captured more of ‘me’ in those shots than any photographer in the last 10 years has done. I’m wrapped.” – Musician Michelle Berner

My love of working with moving images snuck up on me. I had no idea how much I would love doing this. It started as a muck around shoot to make a promo for a friend’s cooking show. Then being asked to 2nd shoot Nashville based musician Butterfly Boucher’s music video for her song 5678 (which has now had over 70,000 views on you tube!!).
With fortuitous help from Marc Eiden at ABC Ballarat, being involved in the ABC Open 110% project I filled in some gaps & there was no stopping me from there!
I’m currently working on a series of short documentaries on artists in regional Victoria – part of which has been a commission for the Arts Atlas. If your attention span is about 3 mins, check out some of my films so far.
Towards the end of a 2 year professional photography course in Melbourne, I was asked to teach the short course the school ran. Being able to help people “get” how their camera works – & even better, start taking great shots – is a hoot. At the school, I developed 2 more follow on short courses & am now teaching my own workshops & short courses in Ballarat.
