I’m a poetic spirit who loves to write with the public and share those writings.
My most recent project: I have created a map of Moorabool Shire with poetic embellishments, to create a visual display of who lives here and why we do. Yes, all in poetry. This map of Moorabool Shire is currently being displayed in Lerderderg Library, on two freestanding banners, and the Library has also printed a booklet which includes not only poems which appear on the map but other poems I liked.
My skill is in engaging people, young or older, to write poetically, even if they have never done so before.
I currently offer presentations, workshops, poetry project management, readings, and roaming poet at festivals and cultural events.
My publications include The Cast Changes (runner-up in Anne Elder Award 1986), the very new self (poems about pregnancy and motherhood), Births and Extinctions, Nosey Poems & Other Rich Pickings, Scouts Exploring a Nostril and Other Action Poems, Horse Power & Other Pet Topics, Writers’ Block & Other Illusions. Poems have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies.
