Ballarat Writers hosts monthly members’ meetings, writing workshops, and boutique events. Ballarat Writers also facilitates the Southern Cross Literary Competition and the Martha Richardson Poetry Prize.

Membership is open to writers of all levels. Membership provides a discount to all workshops and events, regular e-news updates, a bi-monthly newsletter and discounts at local businesses. Members also have the option to publicise any publications via the Ballarat Writers network. New members are always welcome.
