Alana Smith is the Ballarat based designer behind Cut Off Your Hands Jewellery. Contrasting organic raw, oxidised textures against high polished sterling silver and ethically sourced gems, her handcrafted jewellery embraces the unconventional.

Working predominantly in sterling silver and focusing heavily on texture, Alana is inspired by Brutalist architecture and likes to capture the roughness of eroded concrete structures in her work.

Alana received a Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design from Melbourne Polytechnic, graduating in 2019.
