Stella Clarke

At Blue Stone Cottage Studio Gallery you will find a selection of the landscape works in oils, which are detailed in ‘galleries’ on the website above.

I have always worked in the arts, in literary and visual areas. After obtaining a First Class Joint Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Warwick in the UK, and a year in Florence studying art history, drawing and Italian literature, I completed post-graduate studies including a PhD. I taught a range of subjects across the arts and universities in the UK and Australia. I produced regular arts coverage for the press, whilst developing my art practice. I have exhibited and sold works in Melbourne, Sydney and regional galleries and shows for over a decade. After moving interstate several times, and living in Melbourne with my husband and three daughters, we have settled in Haddon, on acres near Ballarat.
