Description of Venue: Originally the Town Hall, the Scarsdale Public Hall has a history dating back over one hundred years. Built in a once bustling gold rush town, Scarsdale is now largely an agricultural community.
The CWA & kindergarten use the hall regularly and the Woady Yaloak Historical Society hold an Australia day breakfast every year. The hall is suitable for private functions such as birthdays, weddings, exhibitions, concerts, dances, and reunions.
As well as the main hall there is also a meeting room suitable for smaller functions. This room could also be used as a change room for performances with a rear entrance to the stage from this area.
There is also an outdoor area suitable for summer functions, and the trestles and chairs are suitable for outdoor use. Hirers are welcome to bring their own BBQ.
The hall features ceiling fans for summer cooling and gas heating for the winter months.
