Description of Venue: The Ballan Recreation Reserve features an array of community sporting facilities, plus a hall for hire to various functions.
Sporting facilities include a sporting oval, cricket pitch, cricket practice cages, skate park and tennis courts. There is also a children's playground and picnic facilities.
Regular users include of the facility include the football club, netball club, tennis club, bowling club, karate, pole walking and the cricket club. The main hall is also suitable for private functions such as birthdays parties, Christmas parties, trivia nights and fundraising events.
The main hall can be made smaller with concertina dividers for smaller functions. and features a jukebox and a television which can be connected to a video/DVD (supplied by the hirer). There is also a PA system available for hire.
The commercial kitchen features a pie warmer, stove/oven, fridge, deep fryer, bain marie, microwave and limited crockery and cutlery.
Ample off road parking is available at the reserve.
