Opportunity details 24 / 7 Public Art Viewing Spaces Seeking 2019 Exhibition and Curatorial Proposals
What is on offer?
The City of Ballarat is now accepting 2019 exhibition and curatorial proposals for its two 24 / 7 public art viewing spaces – the ContainART Mobile Gallery and Unicorn Lane Gallery.
With ContainART moving from Ballarat neighbourhood to Ballarat neighbourhood each month and Unicorn Lane Gallery situated in the heart of the Ballarat CBD, these spaces are an unconventional opportunity for people to experience quality contemporary visual art in their everyday lives and in otherwise familiar locales – literally bringing art to the people!
Both spaces are offered free of charge, don’t charge commission on sales, and provided professional installation and marketing support.
In 2019 the ContainART and Unicorn Lane Galleries are also offering a limited number of commissioned curatorial opportunities for those developing exhibitions featuring other artists and examining particular themes.
