UNESCO Creative City Summer Display

01/12/2022 @ 9:00 am - 28/02/2023 @ 5:00 pm

Sculpture of a horses head facing a female carved from wood.

Each season a display at the Ballarat Visitor Centre showcases our local artists and makers and highlighting Ballarat as a UNESCO City for Craft and Folk Art.

This summer we are sharing the skills and talents of local makers and highlighting the different ways of creating beautiful and functional pieces with wood.

We’re excited to share with you creations by Andrew Lorensene, Neale Thompson, Rae Howell, Shalome Knoll, Suzy Medwell and Vipun Chanchlani.

The display is open during business hours, 7 days a week at the Ballarat Town Hall.

Scan the QR codes to learn more about their practice and how you can add a piece to your own collection!
