Infocus Photography & Video is proud to present international film photographer Kikie Wilkins’ first solo exhibition this summer.
Opening on 14 November 2018, Kikie’s work “combines the elements of street photography with an engrained reverie for cultural and architectural monuments”, and displays both the sedate monochrome of old and the riotous colour of new, all captured on a classic medium, film.
Shot on cameras up to 60 years old, on film both expired and not, then converted to digital and printed on our Epson 9900 pigment inkjet printer, this exhibition is a product of at least half a century of technology, architecture and art.
Offering a glimpse into the artist’s home town of Tucson, Arizona, into Mexico and surrounding areas, this exhibition is an opportunity to take a peek into the world of Kikie Wilkins and see why he loves where he lives.
Showing from 14 November 2018 right through the summer, stop by our studio at 102 Main Road, Ballarat, Victoria, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, to take a look.
