Artist laurene dietrich brings her touring exhibition Old Age Is Not For Sissies to Ballarat just in time for the 2013 Seniors Week – 5 – 13 October, at the Museum of Australian Democracy @ Eureka.

Displaying images and narratives gathered from elders, Old Age Is Not For Sissies reminds us that even Mick Jagger is pushing three-score-and-ten and invites visitors to contribute their own portraits and stories to the Sissies collection.

A special Old Age Is Not For Sissies Concert on Saturday, 12 October has dietrich joining with local singer-songwriter Peter Sheen in performing songs and commentary developed from material donated to the Sissies project.
