‘Homecoming’ Exhibition By Julianne Holland – Avoca
January 18 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until 28 January, 2019
Raised in Avoca, Julianne has been drawn to painting since her earliest preschool years. Studying Bachelor of Fine Arts at Federation University she honed her talents as a landscape oil painter with the vast Australian Interior being a powerful reoccurring theme through her early work.
While practicing in ceramics, textiles and illustration Julianne always returned to the large scale landscapes she is known so well for.
She has exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions across Australia for the past decade and has her work hanging in both public and private collections.
Julianne has extensively travelled Australia and the world working in conservation, the natural world still being the major inspiration behind her artistic and professional work.
The fashion label Bella Terra Firma is another avenue that marries Julianne’s two passions of conservation and art. With eco-conscious messages, Julianne hopes she will inspire others to make conscious choices in their day to day lives and do the right thing by this planet not just for future generations but for the planet herself.
