“Galah”

August 5 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

$15 - $20

Being a big wig and going places isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be…

What is that space between existing and not existing? When someone leaves home but doesn’t arrive anywhere, where are they? There was once a time when you could leave one place and expect to arrive at another place; perhaps even to the destination you had set out for. But what if this doesn’t happen? What if you arrive somewhere which is actually nowhere? And what has a galah got to do with it anyway? Coming to Ballarat from the Adelaide Fringe Festival, 2017

Written and directed by local playwright John Bolger

Presented by GRAPA, NSW community theatre group, and by local artists

Special guest singer Rose Nakakeeto Ssekimpi

All proceeds will go towards assisting asylum seekers and refugees in Ballarat

The event is an initiative of Rural Australian’s for Refugees Ballarat
