The Feature Act for the 21st June: JARROD SHAW
Jarrod has been playing guitar since his late teens where he discovered his passion for blues and other ‘roots’ genres.
Growing up in a musical family in regional Victoria, Jarrod was always exposed to the live music being played in the house by his parents. However it wasn’t until his late teens that he discovered blues and decided that he wanted to play guitar like that!
He taught himself guitar by listening to the classic blues artists (the usual suspects like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and Howling Wolf), as well as the key figures in the Australian blues scene such as Geoff Achison, Lloyd Spiegel and Phil Manning.
Come along and support some wonderful FREE MUSIC! It can’t get any better than this!
