Festival of Small Halls Summer Tour 2018
31 January, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm$20.00
Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that take the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists performing at two of our country’s largest festivals and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia. It is produced by Woodfordia Inc in partnership with many other wonderful Australian festivals, regional partners and great lovers and supporters of folk and contemporary acoustic music. It’s an opportunity for music-lovers from welcoming communities to invite artists from Home and Abroad into their towns, and a way of exploring this vast country in the spirit of hospitality and great fun.
Frederickton School of Arts is located in the heritage town of Frederickton in the Kempsey Shire. The foundation stone was laid in November 1903 by Sir Harry Rawson, Governor of NSW. The Hall enjoys a commanding position on the banks of the Macleay River and local regard the hall as an important part of the town’s history.
Tickets available online here, or at the Kempsey Shire Council, 22 Tozer Street, West Kempsey.
Proudly supported by the Kempsey Shire Council.
Featuring soulful folk singer Claire Anne Taylor and folk powerhouse pair The Small Glories—Cara Luft & JD Edwards.
