10/10/2014 @ 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

A third of our life is spent sleeping, and dreaming. What are dreams for? Why are they so strange? Who hasn’t turned up naked at work in their dream, or forgotten how to run, or dreamt of falling without crashing?

DREAMER is about the poetry of dreams and dreaming, and the fine line between hope and delusion.
Two shows only: 7th October 9.30pm & 10th October 9.30pm.
Tickets $35 | $30 at: ballaratcabaret.com/shows/item/39-dreamer

Sometimes I wish for falling, wish for the release
Wish for falling through the air to give me some relief

It’s a tough world out there. Maybe it’s better to stay in bed. Or you can come along to this show and learn how to dream bigger.

Ballarat Cabaret Festival 2014 #balcab14
Created by Tracy Bourne with Erin McCuskey and Wayne Parker.
Sponsored by Yum Studio

An important element of the Ballarat Cabaret Festival is the inclusion of local artists. For the Inaugural Festival in 2012 Tracy Bourne and Fiona Blair, each extraordinary theatre makers in their own right, collaborated on the marvelous A Song For Each Day which went on to become Finale performed during the Melbourne Cabaret Festival in 2013.

This year Tracy joins Erin McCuskey, filmmaker and projectionist, to create a beautiful cabaret. Joined by Wayne Parker on guitar.
