Saturday, 11 October 2014, At Ballarat Lodge, 613 Main Road, Ballarat. Vic, 3pm – 9pm, Entry: Adults $5, Children Free

3pm to 5pm food stalls/ henna/exhibitions/kids’activities/DJ etc…
6pm to 9pm performances on the main stage.

Diwali, also called Deepavali or the “Festival of Lights “
The festival spiritually signifies
The victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance,
Good over evil,
And
Hope over despair.
Diwali is a holiday of joy; it is the time when we gather with loved ones, enjoy the celebrations with family, friends and communities.

This festival is for persons of all ages and backgrounds.
Let us enjoy a day dedicated to culture, dance, and food.
