You will begin the workshop at The Platform 1 Ballarat Railway Station, then walk towards the city exploring the picturesque Lydiard Street as it comes to life. Explore the historic landscape of Soldiers Hill and stroll towards the city watching the cafes open and people start to fill the streets. Lydiard Street has one of the best preserved gold town era streetscapes with shops and charming verandas plus many unique spaces with hidden street art and old shop signs. Your adventure takes you through the historic streets and lanes in search for inspiration and creativity.

Break for lunch at one of the local establishments and debrief on the day so far. This is a great opportunity to exchange stories and ask as many questions as you like.

After lunch, your focus will be refining your morning experience; your experienced photography tutor will fine tune your technique with individual coaching.
