Exhibition of over 250 ‘ExLibris’ from the 2015 Australian Bookplate Design Awards announced last December. This award has prizes totalling $15,000, the richest bookplate design award in the world and is a biennial event. The award was established by the Keith Wingrove Memorial Trust and sales from the exhibition will be directed by the Trust to fund the ongoing promotion of the art of bookplates. Bookplates are a fascinating art form that has engaged artists, booklovers and collectors for centuries. The exhibition includes winning designs from multiple categories including the overall winner Geoffrey Ricardo (Etching and Aquatint) and International section winner Rumen Nistorov from Romania. Winners in other categories include Megan Fisher, Janie Frith and Jeremy Thorpe. Free entry and all works are available for individual purchase.
