Alicia Scobie’s contemporary art practice contributes to the fields of print culture, humour in art and art through the perspective of motherhood. Alicia has exhibited collaborative artists books internationally and has exhibited prints nationally. Her contribution to helping others make marks in remote and rural communities in the Northern Territory has been significant.
Her current interests lie in “the self”, the role of objects within art making / studio practice and traditional education verses contemporary education within a visual arts studio context.
